There Is No Other Country Like America

From the day America was born, the people in the middle latitudes of the North American continent, shuddered and suddenly declared that dictators, despots, Kings and tyrannical rulers would not be tolerated by a people who had tasted freedom. A cry of “Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death“, rang out across the land and oppression and the iron fist of government would no longer be tolerated while Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, Adams and Franklin walked the hollowed ground of an emerging America! “We hold these truths to be self-evident“, Jefferson said, ”that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” And these brave men dedicated their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to this highest of all callings, rising freedom.

For almost 2,000 years, men dared not utter publicly, much less write such words, describing the true and natural, God-given rights of man. Oh yes, they had discussed them academically in narrow circles for hundreds of years and documents, like the Magna Carta of 1215, the evolution of common law and the writings of John Locke paved the way for a new America.

But not until the spines of hundreds of thousands of American patriots suddenly stiffened in the year 1776 and declared their independence from the King “who had erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance; had combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation; and had taken away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of Our Government.” Not until this arrogant King “imposed taxes upon us without our Consent”, did they say, “enough is enough.”

For 156 years, from 1620 after landing at Plymouth Rock, up to 1776, the colonials took it and took it from the arrogant Kings of England, until one day one King went too far. He started taxing the people of the 13 colonies excessively. Thus arose the phrase, “taxation without representation”. Thus materialized the Boston Tea Party and finally, “the shot heard ’round the world” at Concord and a revolution of freedom was launched against tyranny. From that day, the Earth would never be the same and never will.

No matter what you hear or what you read, the courage and spirit that vaulted America onto the world stage in 1776 and allowed freedom to spread its wings across this blessed land, is alive and well in a majority of the American people, America’s silent majority. A rebirth of that courage and spirit is presently under way in this proud land by that majority. It is growing and unstoppable. Government once again, may begin to fear the people and not the other way around.

That rebirth of freedom is being kindled by much the same injustices and tyranny existing in the days of 1776, that are now emanating from our current government, at all levels. A government that has lost all allegiance to the foundation and principles of freedom that made America the shining beacon to the rest of the world ….. a government that has forgotten that its power comes from the Consent of the Governed ….. a government who is now and has been blatantly ignoring the enumerated limitations placed upon it by our Constitution ….. a government “who has erected a multitude of new offices and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out our substance“; a government “who has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation“; a government ”who has taken away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws and altering fundamentally the forms of our government“; a government “who has imposed taxes upon us without our consent” ….. and finally, a government whose sole design is absolute power and the subjugation of the American people, under a new world order. A new world order designed by national and international money changers, power brokers, socialists and radical environmentalists, under the guidance of the most corrupt organization on the Earth, the United Nations. An organization of almost 200 dictators and despots that would like nothing more than to strip America of its wealth, its resources, it freedom and its sovereignty.

America has made many mistakes in the past and heroic, sometimes tragic corrections were made to atone for those mistakes. Many mistakes are being made by America right now, but it will be the American spirit, under the umbrella of freedom, that will lift us out of the economic fragility we now find ourselves in. But first, we must demand that government remove the shackles from that spirit, without delay.

The accomplishments and achievements by the American people far outweigh any of its errors. American freedom has produced a culture that has never been surpassed in productivity, creativity, ingenuity, industriousness and yes, even generosity. The American people are the most voluntarily generous people on this planet and have helped other countries in time of need or natural disaster, more than many other countries combined.

* American freedom and its military might have freed over a billion people since 1776.
* American freedom has fed and is feeding a good portion of third world countries, besides itself.
* American freedom has produced ever expanding technology that has raised millions upon millions of people out of poverty, throughout the seven continents.
* Americans have shown the people of other countries how to be productive for their own national self interests and healthy survival.

People from other nations are trying to get into America, not escape from it. People from other nations are emulating America and would like to have our freedom. Because of America, freedom is surfacing in other countries and those same people are putting pressure on their leaders to follow in our footsteps, a tough task when pitted against a powerful, brutal dictator. But Americans did it in 1776.

Take heart. America is not lost, because the seed of freedom has been sewn in the souls of all Americans forever. It is just that some Americans have not seen the growing shoots of freedom in their own lives yet, but they will. The spirit of 1776, that gave birth to American liberty, still resides in the hearts and minds of millions of patriotic Americans and their voices are now being heard and their spines are stiffening, like never before. Hopefully, those in power will listen and mend their ways, so that a repeat of 1776 will not become the only remaining alternative.

There is no other country on planet earth like America and a brave and courageous America and American freedom, WILL live again. We are headed there right now. Don’t just sit there in a daze, become a part of it and rejoice, as did the colonials 233 years ago.
