America has the largest prison system in the world and it seems the harshest sentences are put on those who least deserve it. Many are simply political prisoners. The phony war on drugs is probably the biggest excuse being used to provide a steady supply of new prisoners. Prisoners are used for slave labor being paid pennies per hour for labor. This is even worse than third world countries. Each month the Idaho Observer prints a few letters from those persecuted by our government behind bars. If nothing else prison teaches a person how rotten to the core our government has become. Remember those behind bars. Many thousands are wrongfully there.
This first letter from behind bars is from a man who was almost murdered by a cop and then railroaded into prison by a kangaroo court of injustice. His crime was standing against and exposing corruption in government where he lives. http://www.proliberty.com/observer/20081117.htm
